Schulz Elite Showcase Squad Trials

A select squad of just 14 players per age group, trialling now for U9 and U10 ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The squad trains and plays on Wednesdays, so there is no conflict with your child’s grassroots team — players get academy-standard coaching and competitive exposure without giving up their Saturday or Sunday club.

Places are strictly limited and awarded on performance and attitude at trial. Every squad is led by UEFA B qualified coaches and includes two goalkeepers.

Trials run throughout September only — every week of the month.

Sessions are held on Wednesday evenings, 6:00–8:00 PM, at Lutterworth Athletic FC, Hall Lane, Bitteswell, Leicestershire, LE17 4LN, on a 4G UEFA grade pitch.

At the end of the September trials we will announce the main squads, who then train together for the whole season.

Squad of 14 per age group · U9 2026/27 · U10 2026/27 · Full Nike match kit included for every selected player.

The Programme

PROFESSIONAL ACADEMY STANDARD PROGRAMME DELIVERED BY UEFA B QUALIFIED COACHES

Weekly Squad Training

2 hours per week

The squad trains together every Wednesday evening, building the understanding and identity that turns a group of players into a team.

Academy Showcase Games

6 games per season

Fixtures against academy and select opposition, giving players a genuine measure of where they are and who is watching.

Competitive tournament football across the season, testing the squad against unfamiliar opposition over a full day of games.
