Back in 2022 Marc Schulz & Brad Dewick successfully launched Schulz Coaching events. We took 30 children out to Sweden, Gothenburg to compete in the Gothia Cup which is the world largest and most prestigious Youth World Cup. With world class players such as Alan Shearer, Xabi Alonso, Andrea Pirlo & Zlatan Ibrahimovic participating in the previous years. This was a fantastic opportunity for Schulz Coaching to be part of. The two teams were selected from Schulz Coaching members who were part of our coaching pyramid. Both teams made us proud and got through to the tier 1 knock out competition and made their way to the last 16 out of 162 teams from all around the world. On our return there was high demand from the independent schools who we work closely with to create an independent select team from all the best players both boys and girls from 11-18 years old from across the Midlands to represent Midlands Independent Schools (MIS). We hosted a two day trial with over 300 players attending from 16 different independent schools. A selection of players then made it through to our 2nd round of trials of which players were then selected to represent our MIS squads at different age groups.
